The SSSC and Skills Development Scotland (SDS) are working together on the MA programme to help the social service workforce to deliver quality services through gaining qualifications.

SDS has confirmed the volume and level of MAs awarded for our sector to date in 2011-12.

Download our latest MA statistics to find out the number of contracts issued to Modern Apprenticeships Centres (MACs) for MAs in Children's Care Learning and Development (CCLD) and in Health and Social Care (HSC) for 2011-12, broken down by Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) level and age range.

There is an increase of 19% in the number of CCLD MAs compared to the average figure for the last two years and that there's a slight fall of around 10% in the number of HSC MAs when compared to 2009-10 and 2010-11.
